We are privileged to have an experienced team of coaches that are supported by a range of cycle leaders and run leaders. We believe in investing in our coaches and developing members who want go on to coach or lead run or cycle rides. If this is of interest to you please get in touch with us.

Stephen Greene –  Head Coach

Stephen is a full time professional Triathlon Coach and has been involved in Triathlon for about 15 years originally coming from a sporting background having stephencompeted at a regional level in tennis, rugby and cycling. Stephen has raced all distances from sprint to Ironman and regularly  competes in the Great Britain Age Group squad.

Stephen coaches at a number of clubs in the region, manages/ coaches the East Midlands Development Squad, sits on the Triathlon England Regional Committee, is a consultant for British Triathlon and owns and operates Peak Performance Junior Triathlon Club in Ashbourne. Stephen is a Level 3 Personal Trainer and Triathlon Coach and works with both groups and individuals including both complete beginners through to those wanting to compete at the highest level.

Caroline Lindholme – Coach

Having qualified as a Level 1 British Triathlon coach Caroline has coached both adults and juniors and is particularly interested in developing new swimmers into the club especially ladies.  Caroline has raced in a number of local triathlons and is particularly keen on open water swimming and cycling. Caroline having entered the sport fairly recently really understands the difficulties and challenges of people looking to either just get back into fitness or take up triathlon for the first time. She is keen to discuss this with anyone who is interested in the sport but hasn’t quite taken the challenge yet to see what the club can do for them. Caroline is also  the Club Secretary.

Antonia Dick

 

Having qualified as a Level 1 British Triathlon coach at the same time as Caroline, image003Antonia regularly assists and runs many junior sessions and has a specific skill passion and skill in developing new and younger swimmers. Antiona holds a Level 2 ASA Swimming Coaches qualification and also helps the club pool side as she is also the Club Lifeguard.

 

 

“Munch” or Craig

craigWell know in the area, Munch is 44 has been a triathlete a number of years coming originally from a cycling time-trial and running back ground; in which he has vast experience of racing and training. He is secretly a committee member of the Ashbourne Allotment Association and is never happier than when he’s messing with his bikes, walking with his wife around Derbyshire or growing veg.
